Making Your Investment Last (Off-Season) There are some simple steps you can take when your pool is not in use to ensure that your Vyn-All®liner lasts.
- Have your pool professional close the pool down or have them supply you with instructions so that you can do the job yourself.
- Make sure you follow all instructions carefully so that you protect your pool and liner properly.
- Clean and vacuum your pool thoroughly.
- Clean out the skimmers and remove all leaves or other debris.
- Test the water chemistry and balance it by adding what is required to bring your pool water into normal range.
- Leave your filter and pump running for several
hours thereafter in order to circulate and fully dilute and dissolve
all the chemicals completely.
WARNING! Chlorine
may settle in the deep end of the pool and bleach the liner if it is
not completely dissolved. Chemicals in floating devices can cause the
liner to discolor or fade in areas below it.
After all the chemicals are fully dissolved, remove
all floating chemical dispensers then lower the level of the water in
the pool to the level recommended by your pool professional.

- Disconnecting, drainage and proper storage of the filter and pump
- Plugging and preparing the skimmers
- Safe storage of leftover chemicals
Make sure you follow all instructions carefully so that you protect your pool and liner properly.
